WhatsApp as a Supporter Tool in Language Learning: A Study of Saudi EFL Learners’ Perceptions

Technology has literally become inseparable from modern day living as it always stays with us in all places and times. Therefore, prudence demands that teachers too, make positive use of for language learning/teaching. This study compares the impact WhatsApp based learning activities (WBLA) conventional on boosting four skills Saudi EFL students. The also investigates students' perceptions using WBLA a tool English learning, motivation autonomy. A close-ended questionnaire was developed to collect data 100 undergraduate students at Duba, University Tabuk, subjects this study. investigation showed shaping undergraduates’ learning. Moreover, results indicate male learners outperformed females skills. study, therefore, concludes should be integrated classes. establishes novel technology offers effective assistance classroom.
